The second BET-EU workshop was organized between 28 August and 1 September, 2017 in Dresden, Germany. The workshop was integrated in the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde (DGM) European Advanced Training Course on Nano-scale Materials Characterization-Techniques and Applications with practical lab training in small groups at the Fraunhofer IKTS (Klotsche), Fraunhofer IKTS (Winterbergstreet) and the Technical University of Dresden (TUD). It also included the participation in the 5th Dresden Nanoanalysis Symposium (DNS) at Fraunhofer IKTS.
The next BET-EU webinar will take place on 20 July 2017 at 10.00 (UK time). Prof. Arokia Nathan, the Chair of Photonic Systems and Displays in the Department of Engineering and Director of the Hetero-Genesys Laboratory of the University of Cambridge from the University of Cambridge, will talk about on device-circuit interactions. The participation in the event is free. More on this is in the "Events" section of this website under "Virtual Training Courses".
The first BET-EU summer school and workshop on “Printed Electronics: Boosting Innovation for New Materials to Various Applications” was held successfully on 24 May 2017 in Strasbourg, France, as a satellite event of the EMR-S Spring 2017 annual meeting of the European Materials Research Society.
